This listing is for a really nice, rare, used, Scott 85 – the 3c Washington stamp with the rare “D” grill.  This stamp comes with a 2009, W R Weiss Jr certificate.  The certificate states, “It is genuine, tiny thin upper right in margin (6th perf hole down from top.)”   Over 95% of grilled stamps are either “E” or “F” grills - This is  much rarer "D" grill.  The scans show the best description for this lot.   Please view scans for details.  The Scott Catalog value for this lot is $1,050.00.    This lot will make an excellent addition to anyone’s collection. Buyer will pay within 3 days of purchase.   Shipping charge will be $4.99 for this lot and will include a tracking number. Of course, multiple lots can be combined to save shipping costs.  If multiple lots are won, shipping costs will be an extra $1.00 for second lot won, 50c additional for third lot won, and 25c for each additional lot won.    PLEASE NOTE:  If you win multiple lots please wait for my invoice BEFORE you make your payment so I can combine and reduce the shipping costs.  If you pay prior to an invoice being sent lots will not be combined and sent in separate shipments.  I supply good quality stamps at very fair price.  (NOTE:  I’ve had to change my S&H charges because eBay requires more than God does in fees!  I hope you understand.) Please e-mail if you have questions on anything prior to bidding.
