US - Confederate States folded letter.  Long letter from Confederate Military Camp, dated May 20, 1863.  Comments on the war and troop movements.  Comments that the addressee (in North Carolina) is lucky to be out of reach of armies.  Franked by pair of # 7.  Full margins.  Stain at top; hinge remnants from mounting on the reverse.
