Entire Letter in fine condition for age (small stain on corner of backflap) from LIONE in FRANCE to BARTo.CORSINI in LONDRA the famous merchant - an archive around 3500 Letters was auctioned in the 1980s by Robson Lowe in London and they are the only 16thC mails TO LONDON available to the collector in any sort of quantity. This one with fine GUILD MARK on Obverse and I think the m/s 'p.qa' denotes per questa - I haven't listed one of these for two years so they are still elusive to find as good as this, page size larger than foolscap and too much to scan it all - the final paragraph is in a different hand to the main section of Letter written in a clear large style.
