1853 Transatlantic Packet Mail SG14 2d Franking 1/ Postage to USA





An unusual reduced  wrapper sent from Bridgwater (Somerset) to New York, via Packet Mail from Liverpool dated SP 19th 1853 franked with an SG14 2d Blue Plate 4 (AF) cut into across top, tied by a fine 123 English Numeral of Bridgwater, endorsed per steamer and arrival Liverpool 20th and a black 24 and green 3cents to front. Unusual franking.    We are a member of the Philatelic Traders' Society (PTS).
