GB  1858 2d. blue (pl.9) on small piece, superbly cancelled A83 used abroad -  Mailboat Usage.This Mailboat cancellation was used on the P & O Mediterranean/Far East Packet and was 'handed to Mr.Perkins for use on board packet', recorded in use up to 1869.Good perfs as scan - no hidden faults. A very fine example without fault, showing an excellent clear impression of the A83 Mailboat handstamp.
