Thin at center and top left corner. Bottom right corner rounded. Hints of a removed pen cancel. You are buying what you see in the first 2 photos.

Please look at the photos carefully. ZOOM-IN by using the eBay zoom feature. I am not an expert. It has been decades since I have fooled with these stamps. They are not being described as perfect, or anywhere near it - unless it says so in the description. There may be other imperfections that I may have missed. However, these should show in the photos. In other words, I don't need any RETURNS due to "There was a small tear not mentioned"; or, "The stamp smelled bad and I couldn't tell that from the photo." Thank you.

These stamps come directly from an 1899 SCOTT INTERNATIONAL BROWN ALBUM that has been in my family for generations.

April 2016: This has been a very difficult decision for me to make. It has come time to sell the family stamp collection. I am starting at the beginning of the album with USA. Then, to the Back-of-Book USA stamps. After which, I will list the foreign stamps within the album - alphabetically by country. I'm sure this will take a while, as there are thousands of stamps in this book. But, at this point in my life - money is needed more than the memories.

NOTE: The first few photos are of the actual stamp (or stamps - if more than one is offered for sale in this auction) that you will receive. The photos following are of the album from which they have rested for over 100 years in most cases. THE 1899 SCOTT BROWN ALBUM IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. You may see a speck of yellowed paper in some of the photos. This is part of the deterioration of the album, not the stamp. The speck is not attached, or in any way a permanent part of the stamp and I simply didn't notice it until I began processing the photos on my computer. In other words, it can be removed from the stamp by simply blowing on it.
