France, Scott #34-35 used on 1870 transatlantic cover, sent from Marseille, France, to Kittery, Maine.  Postal markings: 30c and 40c Laureated Napoleon (Scott #34-35) tied by lozenge of dots, black departure cancel "Marseille (12) 5E/ 8 JANV 70," red transit "LONDON/PAID 10 JA 70" handstamp, red boxed "PD" (paid to destination)  handstamp, red transit cancel "NEW YORK PAID ALL JAN 24," and on the reverse side: blue transit marking "PARIS ETRANGER 2E/9 JANV 70.  Please see scans/photos for content, postal markings and exact condition. Scarce cover.  Free 1st class insured shipping to any U.S. address.
