Item Description

Gelber Hund (Yellow Dog - name given to the plane used for the flights) Flight Card on Rare Red Card ("Roter Hund"), with Darmstadt June 12, 1912, special cancellation.  June 12th was the first day of use for the special 1 Mark overprint stamp in Darmstadt.  Note 2 additional overprint stamps on the reverse for a total franking of 3 Marks, not including the 5 Pf Germania.  The card is listed as #13b in the Sieger Katalog, with a value of 625 Euro.           
Condition is as shown in the pics.  The card is in quite nice shape.           Shipping and handling for this lot is $12.00 in the US. with tracking.
